hesitantdoodle is a Scottish illustrator and comic artist with an MAHons in English and Creative Writing and MDes in Comics and Graphic Novels. Their interest in art began at an early age and has been moulded since through influences from a combination of manga, pop culture and tattoo flash sheets. Working in and around Dundee, Fifee and Glasgow, hesitantdoodle has collaborated with local businesses to create webcomics, cocktail menus, logos, business cards and flyers. Hesitantdoodle appreciates simple linework and bright colours, creating fun and accessible pieces which relate to their everyday experiences and interests. Through their work, this artist hopes to produce narratives with an alternative and quirky spin, aided by a diverse cast of characters.
